From Fallon Nevada. This stone shows Pit and Groove (ca. 5000bp) petroglyphs, Great Basin Curvilinear (ca2-3000bp) and holes made by grinding nuts and grain. Petroglyphs are carved into rocks and can be dated by the amount of "Desert Varnish" which has formed over the carving.
